I adore flowers, despite being allergic to most of them. I think they might be what I photograph the most of and the most often.

Knobs & hinges

At the Aberfoyle Antique Market in July of this year. Loved all the old knobs & hinges, and odds & ends.

Peggy's Cove

This photo is from my first visit to Peggy's Cove, and Nova Scotia, earlier this year (April 2010). I was just recently there again, at the beginning of this month, and it was such a different experience with it being tourist season. I loved both experiences, but the first time seeing such an amazing place is always the best.

Faux Beards !

Light up the night's sky

One of the amazing fireworks we saw our first night in Darthmouth, NS. This is my favourite shot from that night. They were possibly the best fireworks I have seen.

OCEAN !!!

My first time in the ocean !!! I was really excited, and the water was chilly, but I still loved it !!

New Tattoo !!

 

Today my Mom & I got matching tattoos, reading "Like mother like daughter" on the top of our right foot.

The Past Few Days

I have missed the past few days. I was working Friday and Saturday. Helping a friend move Saturday night. Then Sunday & Monday, we were driving from ON to NS. We landed here and have had a lovely few days. Here a few shots from the past few days that make me smile.

Barn Feet

This is one of my all time favourite photos. It is so basic and was taken completely by accident - it was my first time using my digital slr, a way back in september 2007. I love it so much it hangs on my magnet board in my room and is often set as my desktop background photo.

From Field to Freezer

Strawberry Jam. Every year I make homemade strawberry freezer jam with my family - mom, gramma, aunts, cousins - really whoever needs it and is around that day. We always go pick the berries ourselves, and it's a full day of berry goodness. We wash, hull, mash, sugar, mix, and jar the berries/jam. It is one of my favourite days every year and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Kick Start !

Dan & I, spending the day in Niagara On The Lake, one sunny Sunday this July. We had a wonderful day, filled with little shops, wine in the park, and lots of photo taking. A perfect day.
